This website provides FREE access to a database containing the complete census results for the villages of Burley In Wharfedale and Burley Woodhead taken in 1881 and 1901.

I don't want the census database to be a static resource. I'd like your help to add more content about the people and places it describes. Are you related to someone in the database? Can you tell me more about them, their family, their home and their work? Do you know the history of your house and the people that lived in it? I'd love to know more and have provided my contact details for you to forward any scrap of information you care. I would particularly welcome contributions of old photographs, family histories, newspaper articles or any other documents for possible inclusion on the website.
